Half Moon Cabin is a romantic outdoor escape at the perennial headwaters of the Red River. We have lovingly restored this tiny home to create a peaceful return from your long day exploring the Red River Gorge.

The Space
Our smallest glamping cabin resides near the center of the Red River Gorge, between Stanton and Slade, Kentucky. Thoughtfully restored from an old tool shed, Half Moon offers a beautiful space to enjoy the outdoors. We have furnished our 150-square-foot cabin with a full-sized mattress and custom kitchenette, providing a perfect area for 1 or 2 people needing a relaxing getaway.
Guests can access the cabins' land, including a private trail behind the root cellar and upstream to a woodland clearing where the creek forks. The clearing is beautiful and is accompanied by a small waterfall where the two streams meet.
